There is a written test also for subclinical hypothyroidism--just email me and I will be glad to share the questionairre. You can also take your basal temperature for 10 days in a row BEFORE you get out of bed in the morning. How much below 98.6º your tmperature is is a good indication of how bad your metabolism is. The average person in the morning has temp of about 97.8 and mine was 95.6 when I took it.

One easy way to assess thyroid function is with a thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) test. There are even FDA-approved kits that are available for home use via many pharmacies and online home health screening companies.

Susan--see the link in the body of the blog--www.bellybusterdiet.com. Many clients have told us that it worked when nothing else would at jump starting their metabolism. If you would then like to get a free metabolic assessment, then go to www.beforeandafterdiet.net and click on the health profile and fill it out. It CAN be revved up with diet, exercise and our supplements.

I feel like I've spent my whole life ALMOST in shape, ALMOST healthy, but haven't quite been able to get to that place where I'm really psyched about my body. I've tried every diet and workout routine...anyone have anything else I might try?
